Attend Movie “Is Wal-Mart Good for America”
A free showing of Frontline’s “Is Wal-Mart Good for America” will take place at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Center on April 20, 7:00 p.m. A community discussion of the film and Wal-Mart’s proposal to build a Supercenter in Moscow, moderated by Kenton Bird, Director of UI’s School of Journalism and Mass Media, will immediately follow the showing. The showing is sponsored by NoSuperWalMart.
And don’t forget: May 1, 7:00 pm, Thompson Rezone Public Hearing before the City Council.
Yes Moscow! No SuperWalmart!
